Allan Hawco wife Carolyn Stokes works as the host of CBC News: Here & Now Late Night. The couple got married in 2011.

Carolyn has a bachelor's degree in Arts, an English major, and a Business minor from Memorial University. She was born and brought up in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland.

After graduating, she started her career as an arts reporter at The Newfoundland Herald and a video journalist on NTV.

Stokes joined CBC in 2011 as a reporter and gradually got promoted to Here & Now Saturday and CBC News: Here & Now Late Night co-anchor.

Carolyn also has her hands in acting; she has one credit as an actor in her IMDB profile. She portrayed the reporter role in the TV series the Republic of Doyle.

In an interview with CBC News, she shared that curiosity is her daily inspiration as a journalist. She is grateful to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador for being willing to share their stories.

She bagged an Atlantic Journalism Award for arts and entertainment writing in 2003.

Apart from journalism, she is also a beekeeper; she harvests honey from her bee hive in the backyard. In 2019, she discovered a comb of bees living on the top floor and shifted them to a hive.

Allan Hawco and Carolyn Stokes got married on 28 December 2011. The couple resides in St. John's, Newfoundland, and Labrador.

Carolyn shared a wedding picture from their marriage ceremony, dancing with each other. She captioned, "Topping the list of my favourite decisions ever ... the one I made on this day seven years ago."

The couple worked in CBC but on different screens. Allan worked in the CBC hit TV series “Republic of Doyle” and serves as the Showrunner, Co-Creator, Head Writer, and Executive Producer for the Gemini-nominated series. In contrast, Carolyn works in the journalism sector at CBC.

Carolyn wished her partner a happy birthday during covid with a heartwarming caption through a video. She wrote, "Happy birthday @allanhawco. I can’t imagine a more perfect husband. Fun, smart, silly, exciting, caring, creative, hilarious, handy, and best of all ... he’s an amazing cook! Thank you for many years of wonderful moments."

The video included some pictures from their wedding ceremony and some from their travels. There were a few photos of him playing ice hockey.

The duo attended Jack Ryan Season 2 premiere in New York with John Krasinski. Carolyn shared a montage of pictures on Twitter; Allan tweeted, "Hahaha, her hand doesn’t look like that in real life;)."

Allan and Carolyn do not have any children; they have not shared any details about having any children. However, they have two furry babies in their home, two pet dogs.

During Christmas in 2019, Allan shared a family picture with Carolyn and their two dogs. Their happy family includes furry babies, Tulip and Lana.

In 2021, Allan participated in four facts and four friends trends on Twitter. He shared a few facts, including his partner Carolyn was on the OZ cruise team. He also shared that his first job was on a farm and belonged to an Island off of another island.
